William T. Myers
Tom is a disabled veteran who served for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps around the world, and participated in Operation Uphold Democracy in 1994. That’s why he is excited to expand his law practice to include helping fellow disabled veterans get benefits.
The Marion, Indiana, native and Marion High School graduate earned his associate’s degree from Vincennes University and a bachelor of science degree from Park College (now Park University) while serving on military base at Parkville, Missouri.
Tom also served nearly a decade with the Marion Police Department. He left as a detective investigating crimes against persons.
While working full time with MPD, he attended law school, receiving his degree from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.
Next, Tom served in the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office as a deputy prosecutor for seven years. He has been in private practice since.
An avid bird hunter and outdoorsman, he is married to a school teacher.
