The year 2022 has seen a significant rise in inflation that has dramatically increased everybody’s cost of living. In response to the substantial change in inflation, the Veterans Disability Compensation and the Social Security Cost affected disabled veterans have been adjusted for 2023. The 2023 Veterans Disability Compensation Rates

The Veterans disability compensation rates are calculated based on your disability rating and the number and types of dependent family members. The rates below reflect the cost-of-living adjustments made for 2023 due to the surging inflation.
 

Veterans with a 10-20% Disability Rate

Veterans with a 10% disability rate can expect a monthly payment of $165.92. In comparison, veterans with a 20% disability rate are eligible to receive a monthly payment of $327.99.
 
Veterans with a 10-20% disability rate cannot move to a higher rate even if they have dependents.
 

Veterans with a 30-100% Disability Rate

Calculating the expected veteran’s disability compensation for those classified between 30-100% is tied to the number and type of dependents.
